Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location - your local Ironworks Gate Co. team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing - no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price Gate Repair Work
Every job at Ironworks Gate Co. is priced job-by-job off a free written estimate – you see the full number for your specific gate, in writing, before anyone picks up a tool. There are no hourly rates, no plans to sign up for, no subscriptions, nothing to join. Just a clear price for the work in front of us.
That model is deliberate. Victor Salinas built Ironworks this way because a homeowner who has already been burned once – and most of the people who call us have been – deserves to know exactly what they’re agreeing to before the job starts. The estimate is the price. It doesn’t move once the work begins. That’s not a policy we invented last year; it’s how we’ve worked since 1984, and it’s the only way we know how to do it right.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free. A uniformed, background-checked technician comes out, looks at the gate – the hardware, the motor if there is one, the hinges, the welds, whatever the situation calls for – and gives you a written price for the work before leaving. The whole visit typically runs under an hour. You’re free to say yes, free to say no, and free to get a second opinion somewhere else. There’s no pressure and no invoice for the visit itself. The only thing you’ve spent is a little time, and you leave with a clear picture of what the job actually involves.
When People Usually Call Us
Some calls are emergencies. A storm knocked out the operator and the gate won’t open, or a hinge gave way over the weekend and the whole panel is sitting at an angle. Those calls come in at odd hours, which is why a live person answers the phone at Ironworks every hour of the day, every day of the week – not a voicemail box, not an after-hours service.
Other calls are more seasonal. Heat and freeze cycles are hard on hinges, rollers, and the mechanical parts of gate operators – expansion contracts a tight hinge tighter, and a gate that swings fine in October can bind badly by February. Community and HOA gates tend to get attention before the busy season and around the holidays, when traffic through them roughly doubles and a slow gate becomes a real problem fast.
And some calls come from homeowners who have simply noticed that a gate which used to close cleanly doesn’t anymore. That’s worth a look before it becomes an emergency. The estimate is free either way, and knowing what you’re dealing with costs nothing.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
Whether you’re redeeming one of our standing offers or calling with a straightforward repair, the same standards apply to every job.
- Free written estimate before any work begins. The price is confirmed in writing. It doesn’t change once we start.
- The 90-Day Done Right Promise. Every completed job is backed by our written guarantee – the Keystone Standard. If something isn’t right within 90 days, we come back and make it right. No paperwork, no arguing, no exceptions.
- Background-checked, uniformed technicians guided by our K.E.Y.S. values: Krafted right, Every time, Your home first, Standing behind it. The 400th job gets the same care as the first.
- Trained on nine gate-automation brands – LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule – so the right fix happens on the first visit, whatever is on your driveway.
- Most jobs finished in a single visit, with no-hassle upfront pricing settled before a single bolt is turned.
- A live person on the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. No callback queues, no waiting until Monday morning.
Ironworks Gate Co. has been doing this work since 1984. We’re not going anywhere, and we act like it on every job.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, completely. A technician comes out, assesses your gate, and gives you a written price for the work – no charge for the visit, no obligation to proceed. If you decide not to move forward, you owe nothing. Call (833) 754-7503 to schedule yours.
Do you offer financing or a monthly payment plan?
No, and that’s a deliberate choice. We price each job off a free written estimate, and that number is the full price – no financing, no installment plan, nothing to apply for. We’ve found that a clear, upfront price with no strings attached is a better deal for most homeowners than a plan that stretches the cost out and complicates things. If you want to know exactly what a job will cost, the estimate gives you that answer, in writing, before any work begins.
Can I combine two offers?
One offer per household per visit. If you’re not sure which applies best to your situation, the technician can walk you through it when they’re on-site. Call us ahead of time and we’re happy to talk through it then too.
Does the price change once you’re on-site?
No. The written estimate is the price, and it stays there once you’ve agreed to it. The one exception: if we open something up and find a problem that wasn’t visible during the estimate, we stop, show you what we found, and give you a revised written price before doing anything further. You’re always in control of what gets approved.
