The Promise, in One Paragraph
Every job Ironworks Gate Co. completes is backed by the 90-Day Done Right Promise – the Keystone Standard put in writing. If the work we performed doesn’t hold up within 90 days of the service date, we come back and make it right. No form to fill out, no receipt to find, no argument about whether it counts. You call, we show up, we fix it. That’s the whole thing.
What’s Covered
- Our workmanship: if a repair we made fails or a part we installed stops working correctly within 90 days, the return visit and the corrective work are on us.
- Parts we supplied and installed: any component sourced and put in by our technician is covered for the full 90-day window.
- The return visit itself: there is no trip charge, no diagnostic fee, and no service call cost when you contact us under this promise.
- A full re-do if needed: if the first repair didn’t hold, we don’t patch the patch – we go back to the root of the problem and resolve it properly.
- Leaving the work area clean: same standard as the original visit – our technician leaves the gate area the way he found it, minus whatever was broken.
- Any gate-automation brand we serviced: coverage applies across all nine brands we are trained and equipped to service – LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule.
What Isn’t Covered
These exclusions are honest. Most homeowners hear them and say that’s fair.
- Storm or accident damage after our visit: a gate hit by a vehicle, damaged in a flood, or bent by a falling branch after we left is a new problem – we’ll come look and quote it, but it falls outside this promise.
- Work done by another contractor: if someone else opened the gate operator or adjusted the hinges after our visit and something went wrong, we can’t stand behind what we didn’t do.
- Parts the customer supplied: we’re glad to install hardware you source yourself, but we can only warrant parts we sourced and know the provenance of.
- Normal wear on equipment we didn’t install or service: aging components on the far end of the gate that we weren’t called to address aren’t included.
- Problems the customer declined to have fixed: when our technician flags a secondary issue and it’s passed on, that item isn’t covered – though we’ll note it clearly on your job record so the history is there when you’re ready.
- Damage from misuse or altered settings: if a gate is repeatedly forced, run without power in a way that strains the motor, or reprogrammed after our visit in a way that creates a new fault, that’s outside the scope – but again, we’ll still come look and tell you honestly what happened.
How to Use the Promise
Step 1: Call (833) 754-7503 or book online
A live person answers every call, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – not a voicemail, not an answering service. Tell them you’re calling about an existing job, and they’ll pull up your record on the spot.
Step 2: Tell us what you’re seeing and roughly when it started
You don’t need the invoice number or a written description. We have the job on file – the date, the technician, the parts used, the scope of the work. Just describe what the gate is doing and when it started.
Step 3: We schedule the return visit
We find a time that works for you and put it on the calendar. There’s no fee to schedule, no deposit, and nothing to sign before we come back out.
Step 4: We make it right
The technician comes back, identifies the root cause, and corrects it – properly, not provisionally. The job isn’t closed until the gate works the way it should. That’s what “standing behind it” means.
Timing
The 90-day window opens on the date of your service and closes 90 days later. If something comes up on day 91 or 92, call us anyway. We’re not looking for reasons to walk away from a job we did. We’ll come out, take a look, and give you an honest read on what happened and what it would take to address it. Each Ironworks location is independently operated, but every one of them honors this promise – the Keystone Standard isn’t a corporate tagline. It’s the condition under which every technician goes to work.
