Your territory is reserved when you execute a letter of intent and remit the territory hold deposit. From that point, no other prospect can evaluate or claim your market while you complete due diligence and franchise approval.
The territory itself is mapped by population density, household income, and gate-service demand indicators, not arbitrary lines. A typical protected area covers 300,000 to 500,000 residents, enough to support a two-technician operation in year one and scale to multiple crews.
