Mention the offer when you book. One offer per household per visit; offers can’t be combined with each other and don’t apply to work already quoted or completed. Local pricing and availability vary by location - your local Ironworks Gate Co. team confirms the final price in writing before any work begins.
Every job is priced the same way: a free written estimate
We price the job, not the hour. Before anyone touches anything, you get the full price for the specific work in writing - no hourly meter, no membership to join, no financing to sign, and no line items added afterwards. If the number isn’t right for you, the estimate is still free and you owe us nothing.
How We Price Gate Repair Work
Every job at Ironworks Gate Co. is priced job by job, off a free written estimate. There is no hourly rate ticking in the background, no plan to join, no subscription to sign up for. Before anyone touches your gate, you see the full number for your specific job, in writing, and that number doesn’t move.
That matters because gate work can look simple from the driveway and turn out to be something else once a technician gets close. A broken hinge might share a root cause with a sagging post. A motor that won’t close might trace back to a limit-switch problem nobody saw from the street. With job-based pricing, you know what the full repair costs before the work begins – not after. No surprises on the bill. That’s the only way we think this should work.
What a Visit Actually Costs You to Find Out
Nothing. The estimate visit is free.
When we come out, a background-checked, uniformed Ironworks technician walks the gate, checks the hardware and the automation, and gives you a written quote for the work we recommend. The visit typically takes thirty minutes to an hour depending on what’s there. At the end of it, you hold a piece of paper with a real number on it. You’re under no obligation to say yes. If you want to think it over, or get a second opinion, we’ll tell you that’s exactly what you should do. We’re not going anywhere, and we don’t do high-pressure closes on driveways.
When People Usually Call Us
Gate problems don’t space themselves out evenly through the year, and anyone who does this work long enough sees the patterns.
Spring is busy. A winter’s worth of freeze-thaw cycles works on hinges, rollers, and tracks the way rust works on iron – slowly, then all at once. Operators that ran fine in October sometimes won’t budge in March. HOA and community gates especially take a beating, because foot traffic through them spikes at the start of warm weather and again around the holidays, and that traffic finds every weakness the cold season put in place.
Summer storms knock operators offline faster than anything else. A power surge will take out a control board; a tree branch will bend a track. We get more emergency calls in storm season than any other time of year.
And then there’s the Sunday-evening gate that just stops. No storm, no obvious reason – it worked this morning and now it doesn’t, and company is coming Friday. That call comes in every week, and it’s exactly why we answer the phone with a live person, around the clock, every day of the week. Victor Salinas built Ironworks on the understanding that a gate problem doesn’t ask permission before it happens, and neither should your call for help.
What You Can Expect From Us Either Way
The offers on this page are real, and we’re glad to apply them when they fit. But the standards below apply to every job, discount or no discount.
- Upfront written pricing before any work starts – the estimate is the price.
- The 90-Day Done Right Promise – if something isn’t right within ninety days, we come back and make it right. In writing, no paperwork, no arguing. That’s the Keystone Standard.
- Background-checked, uniformed technicians on every visit, working in your home the way they’d work in their own mother’s.
- A live person on the phone, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week – not a voicemail, not a callback queue.
- Certified service on nine major brands: LiftMaster, FAAC, BFT, Linear, Viking, Ghost Controls, DoorKing, Elite, and Mighty Mule.
- Most jobs completed in a single visit, because our trucks are stocked and our technicians are trained before they pull onto your street.
We’ve been doing this since 1984. The name Ironworks isn’t accidental – a century ago every town had an ironworks, and the gates it made are still swinging. We intend to be the company people in this community call in twenty years the same way they call us today.
Common Questions
Is the estimate really free?
Yes, it is. A technician comes out, inspects the gate, and gives you a written quote at no charge and with no obligation. You don’t owe us anything for the visit, and there’s no pressure to book the work on the spot. Call (833) 754-7503 to schedule yours – it costs you exactly nothing to find out what the repair would run.
Do you offer financing or a monthly plan?
We don’t, and that’s a deliberate choice. Every job is priced off a free written estimate, you see the full number before work starts, and you pay for the work when it’s done. No interest, no monthly statements, nothing to sign up for. We’ve found that a straightforward written price – one number, one time – is the cleanest arrangement for everyone involved.
Can I use two offers on the same visit?
One offer per household per visit. If you’re a senior or veteran, that 5% discount is always available and stacks with nothing else – it’s permanent, not a promotion. If you have a question about which offer applies best to your situation, ask the technician or call us before the visit and we’ll sort it out plainly.
Does the price change once you’re on the job?
No. The written estimate is the price. If we open something up and find a problem that wasn’t visible during the initial inspection – and occasionally that does happen – we stop, explain what we found, and give you a new written quote before doing anything additional. You decide whether to proceed. We don’t add line items to a bill after the fact and call it a surprise.
